Case 895 xl

I've recently purchased a case 895 xl 1991 model. Since I got it the 3 point linkage has stopped lifting. It works from cold star as it should but with 10 minutes use I cant pick anything up. I have to let it sit with the engine off for about 5 mins then it works but very sluggish. Also after a while the steering gets heavier Any ideas?

Sounds like the transfer pump is either knackered or the suction screen is blocked.

My guess with considerably less knowledge than Gapples will be the pump as it gets worse with heat.

Could very easily be the main pump, best bet would be to have someone flow test it
