Case 956XL how remove brake band ?

Hello Did anyone of Forum Members remove brake band in Case 956 xl or 1056 or in that Case series 845 ,856 ?I have manual(from one hour ) its have 1300 pages but i didnt find any concrete description how remove that brake band . Is two pins on brake shaft but I cant figure how remove pins of brake band (no space for hand ... ) I will be grateful for Yours suggestions . Regards from Poland

I think it’s a big job,tractor needs splitting..

Never renewed band on 956 , but on smaller models it was awkward and fiddly , much quicker and easier to remove cab and hydraulic top but get more advice first

Cab off , axles out ,hydraulics off ,diff housings out , rear pto shaft unit out to get at the roll pins through the hand brake shaft ,shaft out , remove diff in large lump with band around it .

As You see most of that things its done but I couldnt remove differential if You dont remove brake bent .....

Two roll pins to be knocked out from the rear , must remove pto gears and housing held on with Allen keys
In brake cross shaft

As mengeleguru say you must take off the rear PTO housing & remove the roll pins using a very long punch.
The handbrake shaft then pulls out & you can lift out the diff & handbrake as a unit.
