My case ih 844 but same as 56 series has developed a mind of its own on the arms. It’s as if the draft/position valve is stuck in draft. A tiny bit of push or pull on the arms causes them to lift or drop just like if it was in full draft control. It did the same a couple of years ago but suddenly sorted itself out and was fine until recently. I’ve looked through past posts and can see that @Gapples is the expert and knows these inside out. I could just do with a pointer of where to look first. Many thanks.

This info should help though.
Start at the pilot pressure unit and work from there.
The filter gauze in the tip pot should be clean and you need about 220 psi ( I can't remember exactly but will have a look )

Here the notes on the sensodraulic system I scribbled down on the training course at Doncaster probably getting on for 40 years ago now.
They do though give a few details of known problems...
