Case mx 135 steering problem

Hello,

appologies for a repeat but i cant find the answer on the forum. I have a case mx 135 that i have changed the brakes on and filters, its now started to have a steering problem, if i pull a spool or touch the brake the steering goes back to normal for a while then goes stiff again. What could this be? I have read about an allen key on the side of the spool to clean out, but i cant find it! Also read about a load sensing valve? Does anyone have any picture or diagrams that i could see to solve this problem or do i need a new hydraulic pump, can pumps be reconditioned? Thanks in advanced, again appologies if this has come up before!

Had that problem on our 110 from new, had to pull the plug on the side of the spool & would take a little bit of steel out with a magnet.
the dealer reckoned the gearbox hadn't been flushed out properly after drilling, was one of the last so workers likely knew what was coming & didn't care.
Ended up with little in-line filters fitted, cured the problem & only took them off a few years ago, ready for a hyd pump now tho.

it's a flat screwdriver on the side of the valve chest there should be 1 on each slice

Hi All,
Thank you all for the messages! Update, v8willy thnaks for the picture, ive opened all 3 spools up and theres no swarff or any bits of metal in the oil, they are all clean! So im going on to the next comments on priority valve or trailer brake valve, where are they located (what do they look like) can you clean them or is it a matter of changing them. Ive also dropped the backend oil and changed the filter, still the same problem with the steering so im leaning towards both valves mentioned!

again many thanks, much appreciated!:)

Morning, went through the 3 spools yesterday, magnet up them and ....nothing, no swarf etc. So whats the next move? Has anybody got a hydraulic diagram? Some have mentioned priority valve? Where is it and what does it look like? TIA
