Hi all,
I have a case mxu 100 which had developed a PTO issue.
The PTO would stop randomly, to the point when you try starting it again it won’t go again and the dash reading would be all over the place.

The PTO speed sensor has been changed, but now all I’m getting is random readings on the dash and the PTO won’t start at all!

Help!!

thank you

When you say random readings do you mean PTO rpm reading??? If so then you've got a chafed wire some where between the pro sensor and the dash.

If the pto wont start or starts to turn but then disengages especially when the tractor is hot itll be the solinoid faulty , mine done exactly that but only when hot and a new one fixed it.

Thanks for the response. The PTO reading yeah.
I think, from what you're saying it's pointing towards the solenoid as it seems to cut out more when it's hot
Do you remember where you got it from? cost etc?

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
