That’s good value but so is the Fendt front end loader compared to other offerings.

It’s just a shame they’ve priced the actual tractors to unaffordable levels.
But when you sit down to work out a deal and make it plain to them if the price is not were it needs to be you will buy a john deere , then the price comes down a lot , never take there first few prices as they try to take the pee big time

so just looking at a 200ish hp tractor what are people’s thoughts? Always been MF but fed up with backup and dealer and so want a change.

JD seem expensive and reliability doesn’t seem what it was, so just want to know more about case. Also what are the equivalent NH tractor to a puma.
JD might be expensive but I think you might be surprised with reliability after our 10 to 30 series being pretty much faultless apart from an early 6820 and hearing all the R series horror stories we got a 6155r autopower as an ex demo it's done the first 2800 hrs and never seen a mechanic other than a couple of modifications that it was recalled for so don't write them off straight away

Two prices from two different dealers. The price was the best price they could do.

They always say that. The best price on Mf 6718 Dyna Vt was 92k€, but when the dealer saw the demo Case on our yard the price was dropped to 79k€. He didn't know by that time we had just bought the Case, but we told him that if he'd been serious with us and gave us the last price sooner we would've bought the Mf.

And that’s the way to do it. I hate the way some reps do business. I understand they want to max their potential income.

Case cvx are much underrated. I have a 230 which is the same as nh t7.270. Great value for money, comfy and reliable. Second hand prices particularly attractive.

It was the negotiated price.

Think it will resemble the Optum, with price to match.... A Fendt is actually not alot more nowdays, looking at quoted prices .
We had quotes for several and found the optum although expensive to still be a good chunk (£20k+) less than equivalent jd or fendt. Brought the optum.
CNH weren't at LAMMA but I am led to believe the new style will be around towards the back end of this year.

How do the Case and NH varios differ? I have driven both but largely they felt the same? Granted the NH joystick and screen were a bit more logical?

Main bonus of a Case or NH in my view is the cab is so bright and airy, then you go and sit in a JD and it is like a horrible brown cave...

Same transmission, the stick just works differently, so maybe some minor tweaks in software.

Screen is the same in both brands so a bit puzzled by your comment. You can layout the screen however you like it so effectively personalise it to your needs. NH works on a pulse system like the Fendt where the Case is on the slider with mechanical gears within the cvx

We have 2 puma CVX, both 7 years old and are very happy with them. Find them very easy to drive and setup. We use them on potato work and spraying where the control system is excellent. It's like having a hydro gearbox on a combine or self propelled sprayer. Personally find that better than the new Holland system.
