He’s an old school friend. I’ve bought a bike off him seems to be fine. You get what you pay for really.

I think the lack of Facebook was due to a particularly nasty customer who bought a bike sold as seen cheap and then proceeded to slag him off to everyone that it was sold to someone with disability etc etc etc. I could be wrong with that though that’s the story I heard.

So you should be as safe with him as anyone. Certainly not going to run away with your money type chap.

I wouldn't touch anything he sells! Bought a quad off him years ago! Was nothing but trouble, frame number looked like it had been tampered with, tried and tried to contact him about an issue we had straight away after receiving it but he wouldn't answer! Pretty sure the kms and hours weren't genuine either as when we had to take it to our mechanic to fix it he said it was very worn out in for kms and hours! Sold it on and put it down to bad experience!
