What do you pay?,I moan about the wives horses and the blacksmith at £30 a trim, but just been quoted £55 mileage,£100 call out which covers first 4 cows.God I'm in the wrong job.Next time someone wants silage wrapping I need a call out charge.
I'm sure last year the chap that came charged £35 mileage, then £8 a cow and a bit more for a bull and had a days work.

Hmmm I used to charge £65 minimum charge and then £11/cow, £7.50 for back feet, £9 for blocks, £2.50 for bandage and copper (digi). Bulls were £30. I used to charge less before that but I got so busy and costs continued to rise. A decent contractors crush is between £20k and £30k.
