Currently running a 22ft Bentham container, removable decks and manual ramps too deck.

I really miss folding decks, removable is sort of ok but storing them in the top of the body is a PITA which is likely too result in me hurting myself before long. As is lifting the ramps up with sheep on. I’ve already set it up so I only run sheep up 1 ramp to top deck, the others stay up. But I’m trying to reduce my heavy lifting as much as possible.

Apart from Gamic in Wales does anyone know of a decent firm that could fit folding Ali decks and a fly too roof ramp for the deck within an existing body?

Looking to workout if it’s feasible too have the body altered or start looking for a fresh body.

Cheers

Contact Ford and Kidd, near Buxton, Derbyshire. They do that kind of work and are a good firm to deal with. Decent secondhand livestock bodies are hard to come by, unless you want an artic trailer. You may well be better off getting yours altered.

That’s the problem I had when I bought this one. I could have any number of 3 deck 28ft and upwards. Any handy sized bodies looked very very tired!
I didn’t realise Ford & Kidd did that sort of thing. I’ve had loading gates from them in the past. I’ll give them a ring on Monday. Thanks! 👍
