Cattle slats

Hi, has anyone ever converted an already up shed and dug the pit underneath and put in slats for cattle? Have a shed sitting idle that would be perfect for it just wandering if it’s something that can be done? Many thanks

It depends on the layout of the shed and what you want to do. I didn’t go near the stanchions but dug out under where the scraper passages were. I had to dig out the cubicles and replace them. It was tricky getting the concrete to the shuttering in places. Sometimes just had to shovel it out of the loadall bucket because I couldn’t get square on to tip.

Something like this might be good in a situation like that
