Cav pump stuck

Having trouble getting a cav pump to slide off the mounting bolts. Have the cover off the front, two bolts and plate loosened and centre nut off. Loosened the 3 nuts on the mounting bolts but the pump won't slide off? Have taken this pump off before and can't seem to remember having this problem. Am I missing something?

Guess I should have mentioned that alright. It's a Fiat 780

Pretty sure you have to pull gear off as it sits on a taper shaft with a woodruff key.

You do. Timing cover off. Set to TDC. Puller on gear.
