CEBIS - reel speed

I have a problem with the reel vario, so to stop it destroying itself by non stop adjusting I have disconnected the wires to the motor. It would be handy just to make very occasional adjustments to its speed by pressing a button. Is it possible to switch the automatic speed control off?
I am looking through the manual and I can’t find a way
TIA

Without looking I can’t be sure but I think there’s a setting for the ratio between forward speed an reel speed. If you set it to 0 I have a feeling it becomes manual adjustment. Think it’s in the header section. Sorry can’t be more help.

What combine? I know there’s a bush that wares on the 500 series lexion control valve that makes the reel speed erratic.

Ah, i was assuming that even at 0 it would still speed and slow along with the machine?
Yes the vario pullies have plastic bushes and a plastic key which are quickly getting destroyed with use which puts a strain on the long connecting rod to the motor. Sheared 5!

I think if you set it to 0 it’s a fixed speed, so an increase in ground speed doesn’t affect reel speed. I’ve not driven the combine yet this year so can’t remember all the settings off the top of my head ?

I don't drive our combine much but I'm pretty sure you can have it off or on .

Our first class a 2009 tucano my boss never had it turned on I think he uses it now but I'd have to jump on and have a look

The problem with the unit. If I fit bush 44 (it doesn’t fit In anything and I can’t see what it does) pulley 45 can’t come over enough. But, without 44, in use bush 46 (which is supporting the pulley) just comes out of 45, next move gets caught up - it only plastic and in no time is broken to pieces. I can’t make any sense of it. My only thought at the moment is to glue it to the pulley:scratchhead:
We are about done now (y)
