Cement Stabilisation

We need to do something with our Farm Drive. Tarmac is hideously expensive (£65m2) DIY Concrete will be £20m2 excluding labour and will take ages as we will need probably 4 pours minimum. We cannot shut down the drive for that long. Cement stabilisation can be done for £10m2 and could be done in 2 days + 2 before lorries run on it.
Has anyone got any experience of this method? What sort of life does the finished work have? Do we need to tar and chip the surface? (another £6) Will it stand up to HGV use? etc etc.
Thanks in advance

Had a go with stabilisation and wouldn't waist your money !! The pot holes have returned with avengence especially as the sourounding area is harder so creates a solid step rather than a smooth hole if that makes sense

Concrete it properly first as last

Concrete all the time, a neighbour spent £16k on his 'stabilised' drive last year, the result is now a terrible mess of hardcore, mud and stabilised material !! and will need to be completely redone. This is a driveway that has no HGV traffic, a LR discovery being the largest vehicle.
