Is it best to come on M1 from the north then rather than A1
I would have just gone down to markham moor or one of the junctions before tand just made sure you come at the show from Ollerton direction. Maybe an extra 10mins on the a1 and 10mins cross country but would have driven straight in and saved and hour and a half

the little road from Walesby would have you brought you straight opposite the south car park entrance and straight in today

I didn't think it was that great. Easy to get to though. Trials were a waste of time. Still looking for a local one to go to. Usually go to cawood but wonder if I've missed it?

Haven’t been for a while
Forgot how crap cereals traffic management can be
Over 2 hrs in a queue in. No real thought gone into getting cars off the busy 614 as quickly as possible
Good day once we were in though and straight out after
There is a national disease about car parking outdoors. Folk drive in then completely forget how to park a car! Then they stop and talk to the stewards!! Same happens to me last Sunday. Folks in front stationary for 2 mins discussing what’s best to see in the show!! Unreal.

As said, going Markham Moor, Milton, Walesby and taking the road straight across to the 614 brings you opposite the car park entrance. The 614 is a stupidly busy road any day so no wonder it was stood with extra traffic, would be a god send if they made it dual lane but can't imagine there's funding for that.

Also interesting people expecting phone signal on the edge of Sherwood Forest.

Hi
I’m flying into East Midlands from Ireland for Wednesday, no cars available to hire in airport, why’s my best option train ? Bus? Taxi?
Is there any lift share forums for cereals 2023 on here, I know there was for Groundswell last year and I gave 2 members on here a free lift, nice to return a favour 😅😅😅
Thanks

You say that about phone signal but a lot of trade stands were grumbling as they’d paid for Wi-Fi which didn’t work

Well I ve just had a great day there thought the whole show had a good feel about it.Plenty of trade people to talk to and I ve made a few enquiries.I think trials on sandland is a waste of time and cultivators working dust but everything else was good.Nice to have the show in a different location.Traffic wise we were straight in from the south at 8 15 . Also straight out met a bit of slow traffic a mile or so away from the show ground . Shame that some of the bigger companies won't there particularly vaderstad in fact don't think I saw one of their machines on site , but tractors were well represented by local dealers.

We had a very good day yesterday, the issue i think and me and dad discussed was if you put it on bodied land and have a month like April you would be pulling folk out all day :) that spot would take 2inch and not even know it had rained

Some pics I saw on Facebook earlier, looked like it wasn't very busy in the aisles or maybe it was lunchtime and people were on the stands eating & drinking?

Yes I agree it's probably not the place for trials though
You know it’s sandy when even the winter beans look like they have had a litre of roundup. Shame really as I like the trials and have learnt a lot from Niab, PGRO etc. Must be a bit disheartening for those who spend all year getting them to there to find a month of dry weather and they are buggered
