Cereals 24 total rubbish

Very poorly laid out with far to small walk ways. Ludicrous traffic management. Low footfall. I’m afraid I won’t be bothering again especially as next year it’ll be at leadenham as the A17 will just be locked up. I hadn’t been for years before 2023 and I thought they did a decent job, but this year it’s gone backwards in a huge way.
Also the sheer amount of free tickets about surely means they’ve lost money. I must of been offered 50 alone.

Is it at Wardys again?
I didn't bother, too busy doing T3's.

I didn’t go as didn’t want to miss the only good spraying day we’ve had in ages and kind of glad now as by the sounds of it it wasn’t worth the 3 hour drive.

Lay out was absolutely shite.
The day itself was ok but the atmosphere seemed very flat, weather that's just a reflection of the whole industry at the moment I don't know.
I found lots of the staff on stands had that "can't really be bothered" mentally.

Wouldn't pay to go and if I'm not required to go next year i won't.

Show was ok, although I’ll learn more from our local NIAB open day next week, traffic was good for us coming from M25 direction

Layout was poor, the site didn’t flow at all and what were they thinking with the narrow walkways, a few more toilets wouldn’t hurt either ! At least the plots weren’t the normal droughted out waste of time that’s usually at Cereals !

It’s good to meet up with people you speak to on the phone all year but after doing the last few shows I’ll give it a miss next year if it’s an hour or so further away

Yes Andrew has it back (since 04 and 08).

Totally agree with all the negative comments. In his defence Andrew was taking notes for improvements for next year but if the companies don’t want to attend it won’t be hard to do a layout!

Had a good day yesterday, show did seem quiet. Spread out and an incoherent layout.
Walkways were far to narrow.
Thank you to stand staff. Lots of comprehensive information.
Learnt a lot. Bought a small fuel tank!
Traffic ok.
Will go next year.

Had a good day but as mentioned the lay out was awful. Some of the walkways you were unsure whether you were at the back or front of the stands. Also could easily miss areas as it didn't flow.
Getting in was easy but they've no idea at parking cars properly - wasted alot of space in car park.
Talking of wasted space; did anyone look behind the last row of stands-furthest from the car park? About 4 acres of nothing…as if they were spare plots. Why not just spread it out once they didn’t sell?!

I got a free ticket so went along on the first day. Last time I went to Cereals was 2019 I think, it was in Lincolnshire and a complete wash out. The company I worked for at the time always had a stand so being there on the stand, I didn't get much chance to look about.
This year it seamed noticeable smaller, although there was more space that could have been used. Why were they so crammed in, in salmon cords corner? The next row along seemed half bare.
A few stands seemed a bit random.
Speaking to a guy on one stand (I was making a genuine enquiry) and his phone rang, he just pulled it out and answered it without an excuse me or anything. We walked on.
The company I worked for no longer exhibit there, I know the costs are considerable, and it looks like many others feel the same.
