Chafer Sprayer - Resealing rams

I have an old Chafer Tramliner sprayer which needs the rams resealing.
Problem is i dont know how to get them apart...... circlip on cap end removed and i assumed cap would slide out but it moves maybe 1-2 mm and then stops .. any ideas ???? Is there a hidden screw or circlip ???

Will cap push into the cylinder? If it will push it in slightly and there will be a wire circlip inside the cylinder pop it out and then remove cap.

I will have another look, maybe try that with a bigger hammer !

Got it sorted thanks, so removed outer circlip then i had to pressurise ram to push cap out, then remove wire clip from behind cap to allow piston out of the ram.
