I think you would have to look for a 765c to get one with those sort of hours. I bought a 12 plate 765c two years ago, under 5000 hours, but the tracks and rollers are tired.

And that’s where the cost starts. We did a single roller on our 35 this year; bearing in mind there are 12? of them….bits came to nearly £1000 (bearings, seals, hub but not the actual roller itself. Whole thing only worth 20k if that.

I agree with you, I was suggesting that at those hours, first owners will often offload them because they don’t want the expense of replacing running gear. I have a B and a C now, having had steel track Cats in the past. If you keep them a long while they are cheap horsepower.
