Challenger hood gas struts

Went to buy gas struts for both of my challengers today but was told they are on back order. Covid related was the excuse. Any one have a source for these struts. Hood is too heavy to keep propping up with a broom handle and it makes the wife grumpy holding it while I blow the rads out lol.

Can u have a piece of metal cut with 2 holes in the same length as the strut,its what I hold the combine tank lids up with these days

No idea whereabouts you are, but our local hydraulic hose specialist gets them made to match quite quickly.
