I didn’t know that!
He just seems to talk basic sense, which I like.
Years ago there was a programme on tele called Grumpy Old Men. It did exactly as you’d expect, with middle aged blokes commenting and moaning about stuff, and I found myself agreeing with them a lot!
Not saying Mr Flindt is grumpy though!

He was at the last FWi get-together, as was I.
There were only about half a dozen of us, and I spent most of the time talking to him. A very likable bloke in real life too.

His last few articles have been very good.If they dont get you to laugh out loud,they always bring a smile to your face.Like the old dear who used to bath him in the kitchen sink as a young un,to be replaced by her grandaughter in hospital.Hope he has a speedy recovery.I have a friend who went in for a routine hip op,and suffered a stroke just after.He is still in there.
Yes, he’s very good company. I have been fortunate to shoot with him. His next door neighbour who he refers to in his articles and enjoys a pint with in the Jolly Flowerpots is a friend of mine.
