Evidently a lot of the Leavers who frequently quote and spout from Mr Redwood's diaries and blogs. I've never given two hoots about him. Cash has always annoyed me as he's spent 40 years splitting the Conservative Party. I never know whether I give two hoots about Farage. At least he set up his own (failed) party and is now off the scene having never won any elections
JRM is probably John Readwood's love child they both look similar and also have the same unworldly views. What did he say recently about not needing to buy German or French cars as their was a good choice of British ones. Does he not realise that Morgan don't make a pickup (yet). :ROFLMAO:

If your assumptions are correct and the BBC, channel 4, et al are nothing but government mouthpieces, why aren't they putting forward far more pro Brexit propaganda in support of their government masters aims to leave the EU?

It's not an assumption it's a statement of fact.

No government is going to avoid the opportunity to put out it's message via such large state owned media assets - even paid for by the very recipients. The "world service" ... the Russian & USA world radio services ... culture, morals, sport, ethics ... "Good morning vietnam" !

The information is even monitored closely with D notices and UK courts ruling on what cannot be divulged to the UK public ... even if it's known in the states. The CIA used to have information on it's website that cannot be published in the UK media for example, not sure if this is still the case.

The majority of HMG is pro EU but the public have voted the contrary. That's been known for a long time.

BTW I never said they were "nothing but government mouth peices" ... what I said is HMG will use them for propaganda. Which pretty obvious given "leaks", photographed "government papers" walking into meetings and dodgy dossiers etc.

I don't really get this BBC bias thing, I can't see it myself. Would I be correct in saying they are the worlds most trusted broadcasting organisation?

"Propaganda" would like you to believe the BBC is the most trusted news outlet.

BBC bias is very obvious now we have so many sources of information and is well documented.

Very noticeable as a farmer on the reporting on the Somerset levels and the anti farmer press coming from the BBC compared to the local Somerset paper press which published all the facts about the RSPB flooding land during the summer raising the water table, the pumps removed from pumping stations, blocked pipes and drainage ditches not dredged for 20+ years despite land owners paying fees.

Same on GM crops ... which mirror imaged The Guardians propaganda. Which turned out to be just journalists opinion peices.

The BBC failed to report the rapes in Rotherham for 2 decades ... apart from individuals who were very brave. The only political organisation attempting to put forward the problems were the BNP, which is amazing. The only Labour MP, the Labour MP for Rotherham, to admit there is a problem has just lost her shadow ministerial position by Corbyn for example.

Bias is entrenched throughout authorities and also enshrined in law.

Information is controlled and presented in the format "journalists" want you to see.

I TRY to cross check news from multiple sources ... but to be honest have not had as much time over the past year.

The moral, I suggest, is not to blame either side of clashing demonstrators (each of whom may feel strongly about justifiable grievances) but to govern better and more effectively so that citizens do not feel outraged enough to assemble.

Trump blamed both sides correctly.

Yet the media "mob" came down against Trump .. who'da thunk it ?

Left wing thugs have been a large scale problem for ordinary members of the public for decades. Arthur Scargill and his failed attempt at a communist coup being the obvious one.

Derek Hatton, the far left wing of the Labour party most notible by his vocal out burst against the "Right wing Conservatives" ... what a knob he was.

The left assemble every few minutes .. are even paid by the public purse to assemble. UAF and other political gropus funded by tax payers.

I think you must spend far to much time on conspiracy theory websites and have a higher expectation of governmental ability than it actually has. If we were living in an extreme right or left-wing autocracy I might have some sympathy with your views but fortunately for the present at least, we are not.

Re the flooding thing: I know it's no excuse, but perhaps the BBC just reported what the EA told them (being a trusted government body and all). Perhaps it's just lazy journalism, rather than active bias.

Dig this, jason kesslor who organised the right side use to be an editor at CNN...hmm...then brennan gale on the black side...guy is white...worked for mayor, and dems, and CIA...then when it goes violent cnn are there to interview brennan...on the scene...

This is a good old fashioned stich up....with the general public used as suckers...

On the left 1,000s protest physically almost everyday about one thing or another ... pushing and bullying their agenda.

Tony Blair destroyed Iraq & Afghanistan.
David Cameron destroyed Libya.

Mass immigration, Terrorism & Mass Rape.

But we don't live in an "extreme right or left wing autocracy" ...
