Cheap butterfly mower

We ran class drum mower a good number of years ago they were good with stones but were hard to drive & conditioners did not work on them
The issue with conditioner units on drum mowers was the diameter of the drum skirts meant that you were forced to place the centre line of the conditioning rotor behind the drum and low to the ground otherwise you wouldn’t pick up all the crop. So stones and soil were inevitably sucked up too. Conditioning rotors on disc mowers have a much higher centre line by comparison. (Above and just to the back side of the discs£

Heavy crop was doing around 7-8 mph,the mowers were previously (farmers mowers)on the farmers 4cyl 155hp deutz doing 3-4mph not fast but still mowing
We have front and back krone and I think they nearly take as much driving as the butterfly’s did
