Had 7 nearly new galvinised gates stolen on Sunday night from fields adjoining the road a little way from the farm. These were a mixture of 12 and 14ft gates hung in pairs, apart from one12ft and will obviosly cost a lot to replace- although I don't know what can be done to stop them getting pinched again! Welding the hinges or chaining them will have little effect when battery operated grinders are around. If i leave the gateways open, its just inviting the local lampers onto the fields. Totally peed off !!!!! If anyoune hears of cheap gates being offered, I would love to know!
