Cheapest wd 40 substitute?

We use a fair bit of it , sometimes probably unnecessarily. But it’s hand to have and makes you feel better giving something a good soaking in it . For the non essential use age what’s the poverty spec / tech value alternative?
just to keep in the tool box , truck or away shed / land

Tesco had big cans of WD40, with the flip up straw for £2.75 a while ago.
I cleared a shelf! It's amazing how fast it goes though.

something like £3 a can last time we ordered

Aldi/Lidl sell WD40 on occasions pretty cheap, plus they sometimes have their own brand version too. Only in the 'When its Gone its gone' aisle tho.

Try Tygris a lot of firms sell it same stuff also bought some off ebay £1.60 for a different make.
