Minstrel for 5 litre = £58
Hatra for 5 litre = £171.29
Epic for 10 litre = £224
Tonto for 5 litre = £29.39
3C Chlormequat 750 for 10 litre = £22.69
Palisade for 1 litre = £33.48
Serpent for 5 litre = £179.45

All prices include VAT.

Just wondering what everyone thinks to the above prices?

We are a dairy farm and have just started growing 50 acres of wheat and using Frontier for everything, seed, sprays and agronomy.

Just interested to see if we are getting raped on prices as I've heard going to an independent agronomist is cheaper?

It is but possibly not worth it in your case. Next time don’t inc vat in prices and let us know ingredients. Off the top of my head your hatra and CCC prices aren’t miles out.

Horus, same as Hatra - £147.

So I'd say your Hatra price of £142.74 ex VAT is very sharp indeed.

I heard generic proline was available this year but the price was bobbins.

Yep aurelia is its name. I priced it up and initially thought the price was ok then I realised it was a 250gm and its appeal dropped. It was about 10% cheaper.

Life Scientific are making the generic Proline from what I read in the press the other day.

They did the generic versions of Atlantis and Pacifica. I tried them last year and it was a about a 5% saving, but the cans were poor design and didn't work nicely alongside the Biopower cans (e.g. 1 x 2kg Atlantis can = 1 5l Biopower can). Life Scientific versions came in 3kg cans which messed the whole thing up and created part cans. Seemed a rookie mistake to make.

Hence went back to proper stuff this year.
