I wouldn’t fret £32 was the best price I was quoted, others were above that.

Trying to keep my average right. Prothio is down but teb is up.

I will report back when i get a bill for mine (Agrii).Chemicals ive had so far are same price as last year.

I believe trace elements are up a lot.

Herbicides haven’t moved in price much with the exception of glyphosate.
Just paid £7.50/ litre for 360 glyphosate

Can I ask what rate you would apply glyphosate at after harvest to wipe out volunteers & other weeds? Appreciate not everyone does it, I’m after the cost for Uni work.

1kg/ha of 720g/kg glyphosate is normal cleaning routine with young volunteers. Or 2l/ha of 360

Glyphosate is very much a spray that is increased in rate depending on what it has to kill.
It will kill a few barley volunteers at 1l/ha, however to kill an established grass ley it will need 5L/ha

400% inflation, but you can’t no-till without it. I took the view that the risk of not having any was greater than the risk of paying too much for it! I can’t see the price falling off a cliff any time soon.

I think the risk is less, but if China maintains it zero Covid policy it could affect supply of raw materials again. I ordered a computer with a lead time of a week, then these new Chinese lockdowns came in and it went to an estimated wait of 8 weeks.

Been Quoted £480, but decided to save my money and go 1.5 folpet and 0.5 teb for T1.


Ps. That’s up £20 to what I was quoted last year and didn’t use it then. Decided to try the Myresa + Syrex and was happy with the results. Also £5 an acre cheaper.
