Chemical store / shipping container

I'm looking for a chemical store to put on an outlying block.

Seen the small shipping container type stores at cereals, 10ft would be big enough. Anyone got one of these, are they ok and are they worth the asking price or would it not be simple enough to make one out of any old container?

If you're wanting something bunded then normal containers aren't the best because they tend to have a wooden floor, so it's not just as simple as welding a plate across the bottom of the doorway.

We bought a 20 footer, tilted it back a bit and welded a 20mm strip at door end. Seemed to pass inspection ok.

Agreed but they did after speaking to them about it and then getting a site inspection
