Cherries galore

Kids turned up with a bucket of cherries today.

I knew there were trees in the hedge but have never seen enough to get excited by, normally the birds have had them.

Is it a bumper year for cherries or just a terrible year for birds!?

Cherry tree in the garden was the best I've seen it this year and, just as you found, the birds didn't eat the lot.

Our tree had a bumper crop and yet as ever year it was stripped entirely 3 days before being fit to pick

Poor crop on my trees and the neighbours this year. Neighbour had one small picking before the starlings demolished them all including mine, which weren’t ripe.
