Had an email from our accountants about an hour ago saying show cancelled tomorrow.
I arrived at 8, it was wet. I got towed on, I got stuck, I got towed off, I had a puncture, I laid on wet road and got wet, I arrived back, o got stuck. I got loaded, I got stuck, I got towed out , I got to hotel... a bad day! All credit to organisers as they were great and tempers stayed low

Think this is the 3rd time In not too many years that its been cancelled, so they really aren’t having much luck, closer to home, it’s Cruckton on Saturday and I’ve never known that cancelled due to weather allthough the trade stand element is much smaller there.

It was Nantwich that was cancelled, Cheshire was wet but went ahead.

Could they not hold ploughing matches on fields that have been direct drilled? Apparently they absorb water better and can travel on them where others can't.

Will the various trade stands be doing home delivery of beer and butties??

certainly, with drones. One can stay firmly affixed to ones sofa
To take it further there would be drones at the event and you would wear your VR headset maybe 0000’s of miles away taking a real time tour of the event.
Obviously the drones will have to be able not to crash,especially into people.

Would all these drones be controlled by folk sitting in their arm chairs at home consuming alcohol sent out from trade stand hq with other drones??To take it further there would be drones at the event and you would wear your VR headset maybe 0000’s of miles away taking a real time tour of the event.
