It will if you get the welder out... but No, it won't fit on.
Converted one to euro for a lad locally last year, similar but not the same.

A neighbor of mine has a loader with a Euro 8 headstock but all his attachments are chilton, he bought a couple adapters with the cup shaped bit and they hook onto the top bar of the headstock and are bolted on, and this means he can pick up chilton without any modification. I'll try find out more about them ?

Does a chilton bracket marry up to a euro bravket ?

I've been told that these adaptors mean that you can use chilton stuff on a euro bracket.

Was it a Chilton headstock that you converted to a Euro headstock or was it the brackets on a bucket that you converted.
I have a Chilton headstock and was wondering if it could be converted

i butchered the 'cups' on mine and turned it into a euro bucket from chiltern, was not massively difficult but you need a euro to work from.

Converted a MX headstock to suit a euro bracket.
customer had initially bought one of those generic euro headstock's but it was too far out to convert it, no land left when you'd bore out the pins to 30mm and such, the geometry would of been way of too.
i priced a new euro headstock from MX and iirc it was something like €2000 or €2500 all in, they are mental money new.
tried hard to find a second hand one but they are like hen's false teeth.

so i set out and converted his original one to suit a euro bracket.
there is a world of work in it tho, to leave it right with the auto lock working like its supposed to and to leave it looking as close as possible to an original one but suffice as to say it can be done but its not a cheap job.

I priced up a MX headstock and it was 1200euro and Rossmore would make one for 600euro, I can't remember now if them prices were plus or incl VAT, I was to horrified to remember.
I was looking at the generic one's to and ruled them out for the reasons you mentioned.

It might be handier to make one from scratch if I got the plates cut out by plasma from a drawing. The biggest problem I see would be the auto locking mechanism

its 12 mths ago so im well open to correction but something still tells me it was more than 1200.

at best guess the steel in the original is 355, its not MS anyways.
if you get the plates cut out it will be very similar to what you have already and therefor could be as handy to start modifying your own.
i made new pins to suit the locking mechanism and adjusted the mechanism to suit.
no fault to rossmore but id have to see what 600 was buying me first.
if it was strong and well made [possible] then 600 mightn't be too far out when you'd have all said and done tbh.

I've seen these, new tractor with new loader with Euro headstock, two removable parts that fit at the top or the headstock to pick up the top bar of the Chilton bracket. Ivd been looking to see where to get them, if anyone knows?

Did you modify / change the 35mm round bar at the top to a 40mm, would there be to much play if I left it as a 35mm

They are listed on the MX website as an option, your local MX dealer should be able to get you one but it will be expensive

yes, used some 40mm ram rod actually , you can see the step up from 35mm if you look closely, just the last 3" or so.
at 35mm it didnt sit well with me tbh or the euro bracket either, it would of left a sloppy fit and iirc when it was sitting on the top 35mm bar the latching bracket just wasnt high enough on the bottom bar for a comfortable fit and was throwing out the original latching holes which i didn't want to modify as i wanted them for a reference so as to keep the geometry of the latch working the same iykwim.

i made up a long pin that could slip together in the middle as one side has no holes in the outside frame plates, when i made the jig bar for the latching pins i turned it down to the full size of the hole in the bracket as the actual latching pin is a few mm smaller so when i had it jigged i could place the top 40mm bars in the right position which in turn left no pressure on the latch pins when hitching up.
the bottom bar had to have some milled off it as well to let the euro bracket in far enough.

It's beginning to look like it might be less work to make one from scratch, if I drew it up and got it cut out including two plates for the locking pin and slide the whole lot on to two round bars, similar to the photo below. It would just be a matter of getting the spacing right, it will probably not be that easy in reality.

What's the reason for the bosses or bushes in the Chilton headstock where the pins go through, I see some headstocks don't have them
