Yes I was there last night. Although interesting the report favors the outcomes that it sponsors desire i.e destocking etc. Which leaves me just as skeptical,

My take was that he's just another failed 'farmer' who has found other ways of making his living, talks slick, and thinks he knows best.
Which is fine as far as it goes,
but trying to convince the rest of us to follow his lead, and the implication that we're all a bunch of ignorant muppets who hadn't noticed the subs are propping up our farm businesses.... well, I was not very impressed.
Condescending tw*t, mostly I wanted to slap him.
and the concept of him advising government....aaargh!
