Claas 3100 mower

my neighbour pulled out his claas 3100 mower after the winter and the bed of her was seized, she wasn't run dry of oil, we worked at it and got it freed up and he mowed 300 acres of 1st cut with her, he has went back to her this week again to get it sorted for 2nd cut and the bed is seized again would any one no what would be wrong ?

Do you take all the modules out and spin the intermediate cogs?

Module cogs are sealed so if it's not them then you are only left with the intermediates.

Unless it's something silly like the bed being caked with wet material

Is the intermediates the other cogs the are left in the bed ?

How seized is it just tight or solid? Had mine bad to get away after cutting a lot of dry grass laden with pollen it gums up under the discs but nothing more than that

She is solid it stalled the tractor when you would try to start it

Yeh had that before I've a mate with butterflies that has screwed a couple of shafts because the beds are caked up with residue when it's dry and sticky if it's that give them a good soaking with water before cutting and most of it cleans off.

But could be something else more sinister you'll know by looking if the bed is clean or not.
