Crawlers generally aren't very good in the wet in my experience unless going in a straight line. When you try to turn, drive goes to 1 track.

When it got wet ontop we generally parked up.
I’ve two track tractors and they are not good at having weight on the hitch as it makes them rough to drive On hard ground. They are best in a big open field pulling trailed equipment. In the wet the mud acts as grease and the driver wheels can slip under turning load and if your trying to turn away from a wet patch the tract you want to drive the most to turn away is slipping the most. Horses for coarses and it can work but the undercarriage is expensive to repair compared to a tire.
