Its not just Claas!!

Repair costs are beginning to break me.

What annoys me more than anything is having to buy a whole assembly when only a small part is needed.
We had that recently on a JD steering valve , one of the 3 solenoids was playing up ( that could have probably been purchased elsewhere for peanuts) but no we had to have a complete valve block . Fitted was about 5k .🤬🤬

Backed my combine into a trailer and it bent the chopper hood,JD want £1k just for a small 1' square plate and best part of 4k for the top plate on the chopper hood.
Had a lump of concrete about a size of a small football go into the header and its bent the auger and ripped a hole in it 17k for a new 25' auger, doesn't include fitting.
Just had a set of filters for the 6190R over £300.
They rang twice to ask if they could come and service it....
Really thinking now SFI is the way forward.
