A near neighbour has one. I think he's about 600 acres of wheat and barley. New this year. Horrendous losses. I know a lot of it comes down to the driver but the dealer was out regularly and things didn't improve. Not a good advert from what I could see but I'm not an owner so I'm sure there'll be much more experienced people on here that know more than I!who sort of acres are people cutting with one and are they a any good?

@Feldspar is always full of praise for his 'mighty tucano'
Why Bigger if chopping, power?450 acres per year through our 430. 80 acs barley, 80acs osr, 250acs wheat, then 25 beans and 15 oats.
Bought new in 2011.
Only problems so far has been a bearing in an idler.
If you intend to chop the straw I would go for a bigger combine.
Power to an extent, but also straw walker capacity. Why Bigger if chopping, power?
I can take some photos of mine in the morning if that will helpAnyone got the pages of manual that tells you what the various warning symbols on the computer are for a 400 series
That would be handy , just so I know what it's all for, there is arrow that points to each side ,no idea what it is
Ah could be , maybe is when on a bit of a side slopeIt probably means that the 3D sieves are operating. Did away with the arrows on later versions!
