Just after opinions. We tried a 215 and 230 puma and were very impressed cvx was outstanding cab a tad on small side but a pleasant enough place to be.
Cvx was really user friendly a real plus point. Honeybadger that is very true but it was a gearbox and cab test really. Tried the new axion 930 because of cab + gearbox it will be exactly the same in new 800 series. Cab was great plenty of room good vis etc box was harder to master but once we worked it out was very good
Case will prob be a lot cheaper, good tractor though. Wouldn't mind trying the new 800 series axion as also like the cab. Not sure what the rest of it will be like.
Both decent tractors, but the case will be easier to move when you come to change again and prob not loose as much as the Claas, I know it's a long way off but worth thinking about.
Do you not think with new models Claas have maybe turned a corner? They seem to be more popular now so residuals might improve. Resale value would be main thing to put me off them.
Hard to say, as prob be a few years before you change, but in the current market Class are very hard to move secondhand unless you buy another Claas and the dealer gives you a gd trade in price. No doubt that Claas are getting much better than previously with the quality of tractor but not sure if it will alter the market place value of them drastically in the next few year.
I suspect that not only will Claas replace the 800 series Axion at Agritechnica but so will CASE replace or at least refresh the current PUMA range at the event.
Both ranges were originally released back in 2007 and apart from SCR technology being added no tinwork has been touched. Might be some very good deals going on current proven models
