haveing read about clarksons effect on planning laws and easier ability to convert redundant building without as complicated planning permissions .Can anyone shed any light of any changes that have actually happened...Is it genuinely easier now to change redundant buildings into buisnesses / homes /holiday lets?

my understanding is that it became law on 21st May regarding no need for planning permission for agricultural buildings to be converted for other uses like farm shop gym or housing. personally mystified how this will work, but it went through.

Will this dramaticly increase the value of every field or farmyard that now is put up for sale /valuation that has buildings on it that up untill now would of been just considered as an agricultural object and now possibly the most valuable part as the concept of doing anything with them would of been prohibitly expensive considering all planning costs?
