So Jeremy has bought himself a secondhand Lamborghini R8 270 DCR for his farm

But confessed that he has not yet been able to attach any implements without someone doing it for him.
For the foreseeable future, he will be writing about farming instead of cars in the Sunday Times magazine.
Should be a blast

I quite like Jezzer on Top Gear and his columns make numerous reading, but this farming thing of his is a nonsense. At least Harry from Harry’s Farm seems to have understood a fair bit about farming and presents it well

i think that it is all contract farmed and he just ‘helps out’ .....

Heard that he had bought the Lamborghini in Italy and shipped it over, only to find that it had a different linkage of some sort so none of the machinery that he does have fitted it, so then ended up having to spend quite a lot to get it all converted!

He claims ... so pinch of salt ... that he bought it in Germany for £40k, then put up a barn for £28k as it was too tall for his existing shed(s), another £23k on widening the driveway so it could get up the farm plus a number of field gateways.
Probably very tongue in cheek but it’s good to have him onboard as there are real nuggets in his articles such as pointing out that a few weeks ago his new born lambs had the potential to be worth £100 each but now it was more like £30. That sort of stuff may resonate with some members of the public
