Class 98 vx engine Merc OM366

So we have a combine in with a coolant problem and the block is cracked.
Its a Daimler benz ag engine OM366 LA.
Anybody any thoughts on where to get one and does anyone know if the lorry ones are the same?

There all the same really apart from the non turbo ones don't have the oil jets that spray up the bore. A lorry one will do but you will have to use your own fuel pump and manifolds and maybe water pump

try your local merc truck dealer had parts for am om422 from Orwell Trucks in Ipswich just need engine serial no

Highly unlikely to find an engine from a combine breakers, I tried.. Unimog will be fairly tricky too. Lorry should be easy but you will likely have to swap almost everything over..
