Class tedder arms

Should the arms on a class be straight or slightly cranked back as in the picture?

I think later machines had a cranked arm, earlier ones were straight. I would guess, looking at the paint, that you've got a replacement arm on there?

Yes that is a replacement.
Not my machine. Saw out today and at first I thought some arms were bent but then I realised they were all equally bent

I was thinking perhaps the replacement was cranked and the others straight.
