I have a massy 35x which i am very interested in using in classic plough matches. I have a solid ploughing experience and am wondering if there is any specific procedures to enter matches

Go on the Society of Ploughmen website. www.ploughmen.co.uk and click UK matches which will give you some contacts. There is a match your side of Leicester in March and various matches arranged by the Staffordshire lads and also in the Hinkley area but the bulk of the matches are in September and October.
