I saw county tractor this year make 43k for 82 plate with a winch, if that is a collector it's a bit of an expensive buy for somthing that sit in a shed !
Well if buy machine from 80s it to be a show piece and not working machine, for 43k lot if money to ad to a collection,Probably pay the same for the right picture hung on the wall, all depends on the knowledge of the buyer I suppose, and hope for the future.
There are plenty of 80s and 90s classics making more money than they cost new, I think the way the hi tec tractors are going, with complicated systems, there will always be a following for the older work horses that are simple to keep running and you don,t need a laptop when it won,t start.I saw county tractor this year make 43k for 82 plate with a winch, if that is a collector it's a bit of an expensive buy for somthing that sit in a shed !

Are field marshal tractors worth a bitI'm sure he can afford it and it will make him happy
Anyway plenty of people would pee that up against the wall in a few years

John Deere waterloo boy in good condition would get a lot of moneyOnly about £12k for anything half decent...
Definitely not my bag, but my near neighbour is a general car/machinery nut and has several barns, no kidding, packed and stacked to the rafters with FE35's, 35X's and other assorted 'golden era' Massey's, that he's had restored. Not just one or two, I'm talking dozens of machines.
Collectors paying big prices are looking at things from another angle.
As I was a photographer in another life I know that this was the world's most expensive photograph at auction. In 2011, it sold for $4.3 million.

That has now been eclipsed by another black and white image making $6.5 million
Makes that County look cheap I reckon.
What age has a tractor got to be to qualify for this?No inheritance tax on cars. Or tractors in private collections.
Might influence the price abit
