We had some on our new drill in 2013, used it some really wet conditions where you couldn't pull a plough, let along make a seedbed on the ploughing.
On the whole they did a good job and the crops did well, the headlands were a bit patchy but they paid for themselves over the 100 acres we didn't have to plough.
One thing, the boots are slightly wider than the points so do wear quickly but now wider points are fitted so those shouldn't be an issue

I have used the TT kit for majority of work last season since drilling spring beans and Borage with the standard DD set up.
It copes pretty well with trash and i was able to drill winter beans 3 to 4 " deep on a moved seedbed as well.
I will drill this years spring beans with it on, as i feel high spring seedrates necessary will give a more even distribution of plants rather than cramming them down a 300cm row.
If conditions are excellent for DD this autumn it is likely that the standard setup will be used in preference.
There are a few changes to the TT kit available now , stronger coulter shoes and narrower points in particular.

Thanks guys, What I'm thinking of doing is modifying a simba freeflow to run metcalf legs in the front and adjusting the drilling tines to run behind each leg, two tines behind each leg. This would work well with osr putting fert down the tines and putting osr on with a micro metre in front of the last packer but not sure about wheat on black grass land in rows that far apart.

As far as I'm aware their are no seeding boots available to spread the seed in bands that will fit a free flow drilling tine.
