Clean drainage stone

I’ve promised a customer a price for a job tonight but I’ve been that busy this week I haven’t got round to phoning suppliers for stone prices.

So I was wondering if anyone has had any prices lately for clean stone around Cheshire?
The jobs at knutsford so anywhere near there would be a big help.

Why not price the job tonight without the stone, and phone up on Monday to price the stone?

It’s risky pricing something without a price for it.

If you promised the customer a price, but are professional about it and explain why and that you will have a price on stone on Monday you’ll be able to keep your promise, but still be professional.

40mm clean stone £15 / tonne x quarry last month. Suspect it may be more further south.

20mm clean limestone was £17 tonne delivered last week for 8 wheeler load. County Durham.

That's easy then, £20 a tonne. You are making phones, working out amounts etc.
