clipex sheep fencing

I'm about to buy clipex posts for 2 x 130m straight stretches to protect a devon bank as part of some stewardship work. What I need to know and cannot find on the web is do I really need sheep netting or can I keep sheep in using plain well tensioned wire?

Not sure if you can use Clipex for a CS grant. I can't with my CS fencing grant. I'd recommend netting for sheep. Go for the HT8-80-22 which is lamb/sheep safe. I think a 100m Tornado roll only cost me £72 so can't see the point in economising if it's grant funded. Not a big amount to do. What's the advantage of using HT plain wire?

Oops I've already done half the hedge with clipex so hope they don't object.

The advantage is simplicity - I can do a line at a time and don't have to worry about putting the posts in line with the squares. Also, the clear up operation will be simpler; I'm finding it difficult to weigh in old netting, being told it fouls up the crusher but plain wire can be squished more densely into a barrel for scrapping. I'm probably overthinking it and will use the roll you suggest.

Thanks for the reply.
