Once the yard soaked will a roll still be OK a week later? We have 7 roll carriers in our parlour, one every two cows, it saves a lot of walking just wondering how a roll will last out in our system?

I put them in empty buckets / tubs that have a snap on lid. Cut a hole in the lid to pull towel out through. Keeps them from drying out and stops them getting crapped on. Hang bucket / tub from parlour on a bit of string to keep it off the floor / out if the way.

Yeah I see what you mean. We are wiping with wet wipes. I wondered if because it isn't flushing it out the residue is getting sucked up with the milk. It might just be a coincidence but Bactos are not normally an issue here usually <20, today 66. Filter is clean but got to check in the tank later once milks been picked up
