Thanks. So for flashing light the small top one would do and go off with the key?One of the big pin/sockets is 30 amp -, the other is 30 amp+, the small top one is 10 amp and switched on/off with the ignition. If you take the back off the plug you are going to use you’ll see they are marked as +ve and -ve.
Got one but thought I would seek a bit of advice before I started poking and prodding. ?very handy tool to have for such jobs https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Digital-...896034?hash=item3d924367a2:g:eZgAAOSwj-9da98B
As long as the lamp draws less than 10 ampThanks. So for flashing light the small top one would do and go off with the key?
Back when I had a Valtra the fog light pin was wired live permanently,I ended up taking the bulb out of the fog light on the forage wagon as it peed me off.Other way of doing it, blue wire on 7 pin plug is for fog light, as they are not fitted to ag trailers you could use the blue wire to power a flashing light on trailers but would need to provide power to the blue wire on the 7 pin socket, possibly with a switch in the cab if you wanted to be able to turn it off.
Or as others do, wire flashing light into the sidelights on trailer as led’s draw very little power and switch sidelights on
