You should start a new thread in the main AG section @MrNoo

Title:

Is Red Tractor forcing you to leave the farming industry due to its cost and every increasing rules that are putting UK farmers aided and abetted by the National Farmers Union under Minette Batters at a commercial disadvantage against non assured imports??

Why don't you get some boats sold then?!!!
12’x4’ rowing boat for sale. £240 ono plus VAT
Two careful owners from new and six idiots.

One oar included, the other available by negotiation.
Only done 500,000 sea miles since new, full service history.

One or two leaks, but nothing serious enough to prevent a crossing of the Black Sea, assuming no enemy rocket attacks.

Be quick! Not many like these still afloat! No time wasters or oar kickers!

Then why is it fuking up UK grain prices ? :X3:

This year held so much promise. Glass ceiling of £200 / ton finally broken. Bit like the spud job, folks stuck with it after 1976, hoping for another 1976.........but most threw in the towel in the early 1990's after a run of seasons @£35/ ton. Getting the same feeling with grain now. If there's never going to be a bonanza, you lose interest.
Yes. Losing interest fast. Inputs sky high: soon won’t be worth getting out of bed …. again. If my first drilling of OSR fails then my back of envelope calcs will mean it’s not worth trying again as the extra costs will wipe out profit on top of the considerable risk involved. There’s just not enough in the job to cover costs and risk
Turnover is vanity. Profit is sanity.

Sad when we can't sell break crops without RT, so we choose to have principles and stop growing them rather than pay the Mafia.

Meanwhile, DEFRA desire more home grown protein crops :scratchhead:, but only us will try sticking up for ourselves.

Strange from AIC when you think about it. Their mills want protein, but their rules mean we'd rather not grow them than be assured, so they're losing out on supplies, and then importing non-assured protein. I don't get it.
