Premium??? Surely premium would be over and above market price, premium and Red Tractor cannot be mentioned in the same sentenceSuppose they are aiming to and show a premium for those delivering RT Assured!!!
Two things , it’s greed given uninsured imports and the discount your offered , secondly it would be interesting to know where it’s going , if they use assured grain too and that uninsured is sold on as assured feed-meat.Offered £10 ton under feed for milling if un assured
It'll prob be blended away with RT stuff and viola worth another £30-40/t. That's what happened to my malting barley, until mentioned it on here, then some irate phone calls and I had to remove postsTwo things , it’s greed given uninsured imports and the discount your offered , secondly it would be interesting to know where it’s going , if they use assured grain too and that uninsured is sold on as assured feed-meat.
Most lorry drivers will tell you if you have a decent relationship with them.Wouldn’t it be good if someone could accompany a non assured load of wheat into a mill and get filmed evidence of where it’s tipped etc. Expose the sham. Soon go viral .

If its who i think it is with, passports change hands under the desk IYSWIMWhy?
Name and shame then , quite frankly it’s disgusting and needs to be aired and those partaking with the end product shown upIf its who i think it is with, passports change hands under the desk IYSWIM
Afraid I can’t here, not just at the moment as my trader got a bucket load of grief over it. That’s the trouble they can dick about and get away with it whilst the producer and middle man is at their whim!Name and shame then , quite frankly it’s disgusting and needs to be aired and those partaking with the end product shown up
do you have your stickers clive?sad but probably true
maybe a peaceful protest ……. Everyone apply Red Tractor stickers upside down to show lack of support !
I think malting barley will go to that. I have paid over £600/t for fert so don't feel that price is that daft. It's going to £250!
Na, they will just up your contract price as necessary stating unforseen price rise or a fuel surcharge, happening Alot at the moment to well bought cake contracts.I wonder who will pay these high prices , i have just agreed cattle blend price with the mill through till April so they must have their tonnage requirement's secured for that period . I did buy barley off the combine and drop in a bin with a view to rolling but with the way its going up its been sold for march with the gain bringing down the price of the mill blend with no rolling and faffing about.
I dont think there will be many cattle left out in CumbriaBig jump now in prices quoted pre new year, compared to January .
This good backend, must be keeping cattle out , although I realise that’s a small proportion of wheat usage .
