Two things , it’s greed given uninsured imports and the discount your offered , secondly it would be interesting to know where it’s going , if they use assured grain too and that uninsured is sold on as assured feed-meat.
It'll prob be blended away with RT stuff and viola worth another £30-40/t. That's what happened to my malting barley, until mentioned it on here, then some irate phone calls and I had to remove posts

I wonder who will pay these high prices , i have just agreed cattle blend price with the mill through till April so they must have their tonnage requirement's secured for that period . I did buy barley off the combine and drop in a bin with a view to rolling but with the way its going up its been sold for march with the gain bringing down the price of the mill blend with no rolling and faffing about.

Na, they will just up your contract price as necessary stating unforseen price rise or a fuel surcharge, happening Alot at the moment to well bought cake contracts.

Big jump now in prices quoted pre new year, compared to January .
This good backend, must be keeping cattle out , although I realise that’s a small proportion of wheat usage .
