brisel is right in the comment that this forum is mostly opinions, its just good when yours seems to be right at least for a short while , we could have sold it all around 110 thats £ 30 below where it is today
If you sold some you gambled correctly, but I wouldnt dare sell my home grown physical grain that far forward I just may not have it if id cocked up or if every body and his dog was short the price could well be through the roof and id be selling it cheap and this happened to many a while back and some of them are still catching upDecember 2014 the wheat price for this November was higher than current offers
timing sales at the highest prices is mostly luck
the brexit bonanza is here higher prices and higher bps
now every one wants to be in the uk
Nissan and facebook investing and employment up
it is very difficult to predict the future it is easier to be more accurate predicting the weather or just toss a coin
I don't disagree for one moment and I certainly wasn't getting at you. More the ones that were adamant the market was only going one way and insinuated those of us who thought different were deluded.Set the exchange rate at the pre Brexit vote level of 70-76p/€ and see what that carries the wheat price to. The currency movement virtually cancels the wheat price rise out. The fundamentals of the world grain markets have only become more bearish with the exception of rapeseed. If the vote had been to Remain then that opinion would have been more accurate. This forum is mostly opinions.

I started selling for harvest for £110 so you have no need to worry.....It's only 15p under what I had for my 4 loads of October, so I've got nothing to add.
In one respect I was lucky as I started at £120.00 unfortunately I sold to much in the 120sI started selling for harvest for £110 so you have no need to worry.....
