I use to like to hedge all trades against the Pound, but not anymore it is the most volatile currency in the world this year. The Dollar all the way for me.

The volatile currency is very bad for a financial hub and reduced access to EU business. Dublin is already booming with extra business coming its way, unfortunately this is counterbalanced by the ill effects being felt by small rural industries and trade.
you could well be right about rural ireland , we were at horse sales( pony and riding horses) last week and despite the exchange rate this year @84p last year 72p horses made less money this year with fewer uk buyers in attendance and the trend im told was seen at earlier autumn sales
